i phoned an engineer who is going to engineer 3 of our cars and he said, he shouldnt have an issue engineering intercooler, piping, height, wheels and brakes, couple of gauges on my vl. roughly about $600 to $700. just gotta call him over when its all ready to be inspected. All thats happening is that the way of the engineers certificate is going to be issued. that is.. the cops can now see almost instantaneously on their car computers which mods have certs for and the photos the engineer takes are uploaded coz cops can see it. SO if you have a car engineered with a low mount and on the weekend your rolling around with a top mount and bigger turbo, be ready for the canary. ---------- Post added 31-01-12 at 16:18 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by bt1_jet [View Post] thats ****ed the police and the rta need to be smacked i get hassled ever time i take my car out and theres not much done to it and now im gettin hassled in a stock vs cause when they check my licence it comes up that ive had defects Its always easy to put the blame on someone else. If you have brand new car off the show room im sure you wouldnt be "hassled" by the police. maybe you need to smacked back to reality and modify your correctly and safely for not just yourself but other users of the roads. having chopped springs and bald tyres doesnt make you a "car enthusiast" like most douche bags do. almost all highway patrol guys are car enthusiasts and see accidents that you'd never see. Don't blame them if they give you a ticket for $300 or red label you and let you live another night..
