update: got my turbo, manifold, and down piping back the other day.. just deciding how to set up waste gate piping. just started fitting it back on. so last up date got oil feed kit and found some fittings and the length of the feed line was way to short. got it shorterend with new crimp fitting on it and longer drain pipe at same time. here some pics of fitting it up. dummied up the last part of the intercooler piping couple of weeks ago to look like this.. and got it back from my awesome cuzzen who welded it up for me cheers bruv and looks like this.. ---------- Post added 12-05-13 at 17:46 ---------- sorry pressed sent to fast... the last bit of cooler piping looks like this.. im not going to leave the BOV at that length so dont panic. going to shorten it down as i need. enjoy Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hi all. Sorry about not posting for quite some time. My pc crashed and havnt bening able to up load pics off my phone or pad until now (hopfully if she works haha) Ok so after moving houses a few times and storing her here there & everywhere. Ive finally got her parked up at a good place where I can under take some hard work. There is quite a bit of rust around the windscreen so ive taken the screen out. Didnt take as long as expected. All I used was a large blade knife, flat head screew driver and some old window regulator steel cable I had lien aroound. First I just tried to cut out the seal with the knife so I could insert the cable. Then I just used the cable to cut around the screen. I must confess but I did stuff it up. I cut the top of the dash while I was trying to cut along the bottom of the screen. Thats what I get for trying to work to fast and alone. Sorry I dont have any pics with the screen in. So got the screen out.... haha yep thats me being an egg standing inside So screens out and ive gone around the screen and top of A pillars with a stripping wheel to check out whats underneath. So far it doesnt look too bad. Im hoping this weekend ill be able to start cutting away the bad stuff to find good steel to weld to. Ill post some more pics tomorrow night. Out Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

So tried to strip all the paint and rust back and this is how it looks... I've decided to take the gards off and give the hole front end a good clean up/smooth and paint up Also while the gards are off and she's all jacked up I've got some lil goodies on the way from Aussie... Will show later this month mayb early next month when they arrive can't wait! But yeah plans at the moment will be to remove the engine. Not sure weather to remove the complete sub frame and just drop the motor to do the engine bay. Might be easier to just remove the complete subframe... What's the thoughts? Cheers Jono Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

have done some work on this lately. just trying to up load some photos off my phone but its not working and being annoying. so have taken windscreen out and started taking bottom cowl panel\rust panel off from the bottom of the screen. Removed the panel with out to much problems. drilled holes on the spot weld marks and got it to pop off quite easy. got a new panel from rare spears in Christchurch. arrived all good packaged all good. lined it up with the guards and bonnet back on. had to bend the corners up a little to get it to line up correctly. got it to line up all ok.... with my master cuzzens help! Hayden. he the man! He welded it up for me because I didn't trust myself. Also got some other holes welded up around the place. Now I got to grind stuff away and make it sweet for paint. I'm thinking before getting it painted is remove the engine and\or sub frame to get the bar painted also. going to try again to get the photos uploaded because I no everyone loves looking at pictures instead of reading this long stuff haha. until next time... peace ---------- Post added 01-10-14 at 23:10 ---------- ok so I think I got the pictures to work. yeah so that's all the pics I have at the moment. going up to work on her this weekend and have fixed my camera so will be more pics to be up loaded soon again that's all for now peace. well my old girl has a new place of home now. have moved from the old farm barn we were in. now at my parents place in the middle of no where only bad thing is its soooo far away to work on it as I live in the city. ive got couple of days off up here now so hopefully I can get going on her and ill post every evening to show progress here is her new place. hopefully tomorrow I can whip out the engine and box... undecided yet weather or not to just drop the complete sub frame or not.... reason for doing all this is to get the paint job all good in the engine bay. suggestions? If you're going to take the subframe out, 1. You will have to get the front end up high enough to clear the engine 2. Do you have another means to move the car around or is that where its staying ? In my experience its very easy to take motor and box out as one then you cann remove what you want out of the bay. Most people just tape the steering rack up to avoid stray paint.
