Just look for them on Youtube.. he also rags them out on a few forums. Something about them leaking water through to the oil side or something.. From what I read on the specs and talking to Mr Billet on the phone he seemed pretty ok to me.

if its the guy l,m thinking of he was delt with leagal action he had the **** because mark wouldnt sponser him and give him a turbo the turbo that was shown with water leaks was never returned for warrenty, so you figure. peter the turner of troys supra was rapt with the turbo and the way it performed l also had the same responce from efi with another billet on a stag that l had done it was gt30 specs and made 376rwhp on 16psi with no effort and not much timming

31-01-11, 23:51 GMT+10#43 I've heard some good things about these billet turbos too, but didn't seem to stop mine leaking water into the compressor cover...or mixing oil and water inside the core until the bearings made more noise after shutdown than the car itself still running.. lol
they still look pretty sexy tho..

01-02-11, 14:30 GMT+10#44 Well there is another person who has mentioned the same thing.. must be a pretty good failure to get water and oil mixing?

01-02-11, 20:04 GMT+10#47 If I'd pulled it off the car when it first started leaking water into the comp cover, the bearings would prob have been alright, was told that it would be repaired for free if it was taken right then, however at the time, being my only car and stuff, its was a bit hard to just rip the turbo off and send it 100km away for however long, and so I had to keep driving it, water and oil then began mixing in the core of the turbo etc, bearings started gettin real noisy and then yeah, it cost me 600 bucks I think in the end after repairs.... and then I happily sold the turbo on, and bought myself a GT35 for which has copped abuse for 3 and half years now and still has never let me down.

16-02-11, 21:04 GMT+10#50 l have spoken to mark in the past few days about what has been said and his responce is simple anything that has a fault is fixed free as it should be if you dont own 1 why complain, and if you have failure and dont send it back, he carnt be held responsible, and on another note, one of his turbo's are on the fastest 10.5'' fastest outlaw in the us and if they were so bad why is itswar upgrading to a bigger turbo, pigsy

17-02-11, 23:24 GMT+10#53 Yeah I wasn't having a whinge Troy, I happily paid up when it had to be rebuilt as at the time of core leakage I was unable to just take the turbo off the car. I'm sure that would have been great for trying to pinpoint the part failure or possible design floor, or even possible installation overlook (not appointing blame to anyone or anything in particular) these are merely suggestions. Like many new things on the market, like these were im sure at the time, with maybe minimal on car r&d, I'd be curious to know if there ever was anything identified as being known to fail causing the oil water core mixing issues more than a few people have spoken of as I'm sure others would surely have taken the opportunity to return turbos for 'free' repair.
Don't take it personally or anything, I didn't post to make anyone feel like they should have done or offered anything. I didn't post to hold anyone in particular responsible either lol just general chit chat with the possibility of maybe finding out that a cause for these few instances of pretty much the same symptoms had been identified....?? If you happen to stumble across the answer in general conversation, let us know...

20-02-11, 19:12 GMT+10#60 we run it up 2moro night
he has checked it all over and putting a fitting in the manifold to check back pressure seeing as we are going to be pushing it
not sure if it will do any good at the track because of the std tailshaft, cant launch it hard
pete thinks he could run a good time in it but ive neva ever raced so it would take me a while to get used to it
current tune it should go over 140mph but we putting more thru it
cant wait to see what happens 2moro
everything is running really well and it hasnt missed a beat
cranks pretty much straight away but its still a little lean on idle so until it gets warm it doesnt like light load
he fixing all that 2moro and playing with the cam timing and eboost before i get there bout 530 then we are putting more boost into it
hopefully hav it regoed in the next couple days to
