I'm only going off of the weight quoted in the street Commodores article. If it doesn't weigh that any more or if it weighs more it will clearly affect the number. Either way, it's f***ing fast.

Yeah that's fair enough and I know that there are many variables involved, on one of the rotorg33k video's of the private test and tune the car with driver was on the weigh bridge and it came in at the weight that was quoted in the article. I was just wondering roughly what power the car made, I knew it was a $.h.it load of power just wanted a rough figure to associate the car with for the time being, however the fact that there is plenty more to come means there are very exciting times ahead and power will inevitably increase!!

just a question and im not having a go but why is this car so damn heavy. i mean full length chromoly chassis,alloy diff,carbon fibre everything,lexan windows,gutted door skins,original firewall and bulkhead pretty much gone,lightweight racing wheels struts and brakes,k frame gone,only thing its got is half of two front chassis rails and a radiator support and it weighs near exactly the same as there old car and as much as a stock vlt. i dont get it.

I'd say with the chasis rails still in tact, the radiator support and the working front lights and loom, this would all weigh up and add the extra weight to the car. The car may even have distribution weight plates in it to help sort and adjust the chasis in it but I don't want to be starting rumours so i'm not to sure if this is the case. Either way, given it is a little on the heavy side, he can use it to his advantage when he ups the ante.
