Got a few photos from today will post them up later. Dont know what happened to the rajab race car but it was backed up on the trailer an gone by about 12:30 today.
Was absolutley roasting there today got burnt badly,An i spent half the day in the Kapiris Bros Racing marquee.
No better feeling sitting there on a drum of metanol chatting to Peter an the boys then the crew firing up the Dodge an feeling 3000hp hit you in the chest.

In what ways, Juls?

Hopefully this shake-up of the board filters down and they replace some of the staff.

everyone from the maatouk crew were impressed with the track. left lane was perfect, right lane 95%, either way, il race my gtr there when its ready without stressing about putting the power in it.
a lot of locals did say that they had never seen the track in such good condition but i can only comment on what i saw..

more shade, garages, heaps of places to eat and drink, huge braking area, friendly staff, relatively organised, easy access to power.. lighting in the garages.. all that combined was convenient to go racing there.

I'm glad the competitors were happy with the track, makes all the hard work and no sleep worth it!!!
I spoke with one of the guys in Maatouks crew(the huge one) and he was saying that they couldn't believe that both cars bogged off the line, and were very impressed with the track prep, and couldn't wait to come down again... The PAC boys said they were that impressed, they were gonna bring there car back, as well as 30 customer cars!!

I guess Calder can draw on the positives from the event as noted above and keep on improving the grey areas which cloud the track and make the event a yearly one that we Melbournians can look forward to once every year.
