im no mechanic but sometimes i like to hold my dyno print out in my left and use my right hand to make me happy... anyway, i've got a power figure and setup much like what you're talking about CSL (albeit on higher boost). anyway, just thought i'd pop in and see what everyones ideas were.. personally i dont have a button so ill be trying to use my handbreak just a little bit to get traction. i did some practice on the street with street tires, just waiting on sorting some street slicks now... i dont think the practiced launches and rpm stuff we did will be worth a cent when we are looking at a track and semi-slicks... anyway, all i really came here to say was personally (i dont know what you have done) i will be installing tailshaft loops (dos) and boxing my arms in the rear. heard a few horror stories about what all that extra traction can do when you drop the clutch on the track. sure it might not happen, infact probably wont, but i'd much rather bust an axle than bust my car out of shape. hope my post makes sense, its 420 am...

Is this what you are doing up so early? Between full slick & semi slick is there a massive difference in stickiness, or is one is considered a street style tire & one is a purposely strip only.
