I can't believe they would knock back a four door car due to being turbo or V8 and that its not a family car. V8 statesman? Damn, I bought mine for a family sedan, might have to go and downgrade now. I know loads of family's with V8 commodores and turbo falcons. I think they're focussing on the wrong thing here. Whether the car is sold as a family oriented car or a sports model is neither here nor there, it is what it is, its as fast as it is regardless of how many doors the thing has to gain entry. These days the performance car and sports car is a very blurry line, due to customer demand. Have a look at HSV models for an example.
