You won't need injectors unless it is a early VT with the low 20 something lbers. Even then unless its a whopper of a cam and head packaged I doubt you would need them.

got a question guys. What would it take and how much would it cost to get a VT-VZ sedan with a LS1/2 engine to run an 11 on street tyres in street trim? (actual street tyres that you can buy from anywhere straight off the shelf)

I had a bad experience with c&a auto fashion. Also either my ls1 is a peice of crap or some of the figures that I'm reading are being exaggerated... What power do you guys think I should be makin? I don't know the full specs of it cos I got it off someone that knows sweet fa about cars but I know it has a fairly large cam, maffless tuned, single 3 inch and it's a series 2 vy ss engine...

what car is the engine in? is it your VL? probably will do a low 12 but you'd need to provide abit more info so people can get a closer estimate.

What kind of power did it make? you haven't listed one in your list of mods so I'm not sure..why have you done injectors on it?

(tyres you can buy from anywhere straight off the shelf) Thanks If you want to stay on street tyres then you have to allow for low 60ft times. I took my car to the LSX nationals on the weekend and entered in the LSXT (true street) no ET's just street tyres. I could not get my 60ft times under 1.9 without braking into wheelspin. Having said that a Caprice is Heavier than a sedan. So with a bad 60ft time you have to have alot of HP for top end. I have 320kw @ wheels and my MPH was better than other cars running quicker times on slicks. You would have to go forced induction for sure. Allow 10-15k depending on desired set up.
