another update, me and a mate started to torque down the bottom end of my motor, checked all the clearances and stuff. every thing was goin smoothly till we found that there was a washer missing in the arp main stud kit. but mat was nice enough to give me another one i wont put any pics up yet, im gathering you's would all no what a bottom end of a rb30 looks like ill keep ya's posted on the rest, thank you Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

another quick update, pistons are all in and torqued down. head goes on soon, will get a pick up in a week of it fully dressed with my plenum, twin rail and a couple other things cheers

bit of an update. went backwards really fast with the calais, story is, i went to sell my old block to a bloke in melb, he did a check on the block. and tells me the car is still in finance wtf so i ran vic raods again for the 3rd time, they said na its not, so i went to the cops and they said yes it still is ,soooo i then was told not to tell vic roads where the car is so the finance mob cant reposses it. thats why i was stripping the car for pieces for ppl who needed parts as such, but then i had a realisation. ive just spent x amount of money on it and im not goin down with out a fight, so i did some digging, cut a long story short. the finance is no longer on the car, it never was under finance, i have a reciept from the last person who rego'd it. so now i should be rite to go ahead with it again, fingers crossed Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
