18-11-09 Ok, Well Seeing im still waitting for the Manual Conversion to Arrive (Still in Sydney) iv decided to do some things which have lead me to doing bigger things now, i started to take the top of the Plenem off so it could be Painted Red and some parts Polished....... after taking it off and the box not going to be here for a few more days, i came to the decision that the motor will be comming out maybe this weekend so i can make the bay look as good as the out side of the car. So im gunna be busy and you guys will be seeing alot of interesting pic's of the progess i make from doing the engine bay. Here are some of what will be Red and Chrome. Took the wiring look out, Radiator, Hoses Fuel Lines Whats Remaining: Exhurst and Engine Mount's. Some Pics..... 24-11-09 G-day all, How are we?.................... Yeah! im good..... anyway time for an Update. After work i went to my old mansd place to get my engine crane and engine stand, got home, got it out of the car, all was going good.............. got it ready to lift the motor out of the VL, got it at one point and the crane decided to not lift any higher then whats in the pic below............... turned out the hydrollic oil had leakes out and didnt have enough to pump it higher....... so that put a end to the motor comming out. SO, i moved on to cleaning and painted some parts for the motor......... here are all the pic's. The Plenum......... (not yet Finished, still got to polish the top) Just shows how much im goin into Detail on this car, even did the Tiny Ass Nissan Badge, lol The Clutch Fan...... And the Throttle Body Stay Tuned as more parts from the engine get painted up and looking good to go back in the bay..... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hahahah bro, i have no chance still trying to look for a 5 speed conversion for it..... it has no box as it packed it in and from the box packin it in i decided to take it off the road and get the bay panted and tidied up and convet it to a manual. Hahaha I dont have that much time really but thanx love, next is your car, ......... 25-11-09 Anyway Latest update... 1st thing i did stright after work was go to Autobarn and Order in some Gaskets for the motor...... Oh and got some Hydrollic Oil to fix the Crane. Got home and got stuck into the car after the darling wife left to go to work..... Got the motor out and pulled down so its ready to be cleaned and painted. I managed to get a couple of coates of the red paint on the Runners, (bottome half of the Plenum). Yay!!!! Motor is out at Last.......... Damn that bay is the Ugliest thing iv seen..... But not for long! Motor Is pulled down to be painted........ MMMMM gunna look good. And a pic of the Runners with a few Coats of the Red Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

30-11-09 Hey all, Well here is a little Update....... Gave the Fuel Rails a coat of Gloss Black........ looks heaps better then the Stock goldish ugly Colour......... Also I put the top half of the Plenum back together and gave the top of it a bit of a Polish with Autosol, needs a couple more but its getting there. are u gonna completely hide all the wiring and smooth the bay? or just clean it up a lil

Not too sure Would love to id the wiring, i have thought about giving it a go my self....... but Will just have to wait and see.......... 1-12-09 Yesssss............. Its a another little update to getting the cars closer to being finished....... Today after work i Worked on the Car's engine bay, getting it completely striped for prep and paint. Also i put the Injectors and rail back onto the Runners....... looks good. I also took a pic of what the hole cold side looks like. Engine bay Stripped down ready for some Interesting work i have planed for it Runner Done with Injector rail done and back on. And a Few pic's of the Plenum and Runners together, give you a little idea on what its going to look like. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey all, Update...... dont have Pic's but will in a cople of weeks when i get it.... Well im not going with a MX7 manual box (guy has screwed me around long enough) instead iv picked up a R33 Manual box, with Brand New Xceedy Clutch, Slave and Master Cyl, Yoke to suit. Does need a cpl of things that ill have to get from the reckers which are pedal box, Cross member. Box Feels really tight and changes ****in awesome, has a short shifter also...... Im really happy with this find. Will get some pics up as soon as iv picked it up.

plenty of colour co-ordinating happening. i like it. bit different to the usual chrome everything.

Engine bay will be red, the same colour as the car, And as for Chrome....... pfft "F" Chrome, there will be little bits but very very little of it........ I like to be different and i wanna make my car stand out.

8-12-09 Yay Update...... OK Well today iv started doring some of the body work in the bay, Got rid of a little lump on the passenger's side Strut tower...... filled in a few other little holes, the biggest one is on the drivers side, when i get to it ill take a pic b4 i touch it and after when iv smoothed it. Bad thing that happened today was i walked passed the car and the little silver trim that goes above the Bar got caught on my dog damn pants and snapped........ Wasn't happy, yer i said a few word and a 1 min later i was ova it, (I just thoguht o well ill buy a new one) lol Anyway here are some pic's of the work so far. BTW the big hole in the rail you see, was from the old cooler and the **** piping, that will be welded back up and fixed. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hahaha thanx guys....... 9-12-09 New Updates...... Yesterday went and paid some off the R33 Manual conversion i got for the car, I pick that Up next Tuesday..... Pretty Excited about that... Also Got my self a New/Second-hand Turbo from a R33 GTR....... also got a Manifold that i can run an 60mm External wastegate if i wanted too. And also today i started on the Drivers side Strut tower, still needs a bit of work but she's slowly getting there, from looking at the pic you can see how big the dent was........ So instead of filling the hole thing with body filler what i did was hit it out with a hammer and then body filled it. didnt want to use too much filler.
