been watching this space for a while, this is coming together great. going to be one very original car. i remember talking to a father and son at the high road hotel (riverton pub) one time about putting an rb30 in an ej or eh, i dont remember too well as it was a couple of years ago. all i remember was the old man had a really harsh sense of humour. the old fella was talking about dropping an rb30 into whatever he had, but i dont know whether his intentions were for as much go as this is going to have! i think the younger one of the two was in trouble with his mrs at the time because he and his dad had just bought another ej/h to start work on haha. wasn't you by any chance? are you keeping build details a secret? if not what are you doing in the rear end? surely you'll have pleanty of room to play around with in there haha, but if you tub it where will the matress go? shagin wagin indeed.

no secret hear diff is a cut down vl turbo diff 28 spline with 3.9:1 gears . tubs- none, i want to keep it standard so the leaf spring will be staying aswell i will be adding a rear swaybar and a set of true trac tramp rods should be great fun keeping it straight but hay if i wanted handling i would of brought a skyline and wears the fun in that and that wasnt me and the oldman you spoke to my oldman just shakes his head when he see's the van " how you going to keep that thing straight?"

We didn't want the usual Dragways or whatever are commonly put on the EH's etc. Stan from Allstreet Tyres and Wheels had some rims custom spun up for us. He cut the centres from an original stock set of EH rims and then set them into a set of wheels that were designed from a combination of a couple of other designs. We got the package with tyres and the price was extremely reasonable. He would be well worth a call if you wanted something a little different. Well done on an awesome project!
