i drive past calder to get to work n home everyday.....the joint is derilict........we did some work for them, just before the closure, with signage, and there was big plans, of which we were consulting for, then it hit a brick wall, and all the staff got the ar*e, due the OH&S reasons, and it all stemmed from that Turbo'ed Hemi from Perth hitting the wall in the top end, with no safety crew on site, in the top end. Anyone know how WSID got funded by the NSW state government eg. petetions, public pressue, drag racers father is a politician lol etc etc...???

they gave it to us because the nsw VL scene is up to scratch Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Give you a EPA/Defect. That will be enough to shatter your dreams. Sorry but these threads really dont go anywhere, IMO. They havent in SA and we have been to a rally and waiting for a protest. No doubt it will just fall by the weigh side

If we give up with out trying then we'll never know maybe get some signs made up and loads of cars in front of Calder Parks Gates along the freeway during peek hour peacefully of course and sensibly......... Or we can all sit and do nothing and point out reasons why it will never happen and see a dying trend to drag racing in Melbourne

im sick off ppl pi55ing and crying bout sh1t when they dont have the balls to stand up for wat they belive in. thats why the government walks all over us cause the majority is too weak to do any thing. big deal if the cops come and move the cars i bet well make the press and tell the ***ers that this will happen every week until we are heard. they cant afford to have so many cops dealing with the same issue week in week out.no hooning and music pumping just there to make a scene and be heard.

you no seeing bob driving around in his c600 or e500 at calder to and from his camper van watching the racing seeing the FULL stands you would think the old dog would lift his game

its gotten to the stage brad where they just note down your rego and send you a warning letter if your spotted at one of the late night events

Dont block roads thats just asking for trouble better off protesting out the front of Calder Park and hopefully make enough of a point to get the media there and oh yeh come bring another car preferabely some standard car that the cops cant touch you with not some 9 sec screamer...LOL...

In a sensible and legal way (of course) i'm in for some sort of public showing for the need of a government funded race track just like WSID in NSW.... Just imagine a drag strip with out Bob Jane pulling the strings.........
