the car went 7.1 years ago,po's car also went 7.1(use to 60ft @ 1.06) on its first few outings, both chassis have been sold,m&m(malcolm) sold their chassis also and now are with gas in the black hurricane, the gas cars have gone 6.50's. the clutchless boxes are no diffrent to julians, the airshift is an added feature, each oxygen bottle holds about 80 air shifts before a top up.

the car it was back then can not be compared to the car the way it is now....the car is 100 times stiffer than what it used to be. previously the chassis was designed to have flex in it, much like all the US cars being built by the likes of rj. there is a reason why such cars end up for sale after a season or so, becuased they are deemed useless due to the wear and tear they suffer from the lack of tubing, ie therefore strength and longevity. i know what io would prefer. anyone chassis builder with a set of scales will be able to set the chassis up right without even paying a visit to the track. as a starting point, no i wouldn't be looking at the wheelie bars, these should only ever be used for fine tuning.

putting the car on scales does the world of good, terry scaled my car and i went from picking 1 wheel up 4ft off the ground 1 pass and aiming for a right side wall the next to leaving very straight and going half a tenth quicker every launch.. FIRST MEETING and turning the tyres!! scaling the car does heaps!!

enough said. imagine what it would do for a 3/4 chassis car.

i cant see whats takin them so long to do this if this is the main prob??? i guess they would prefer risking hitting the wall!!!
