haha yeah for sure bogs havent touched the vk in a couple days...but i did manage to get the bootlid straight...no more dints...covered in etch primer as i had to take it to bare metal anyway just waiting on my next available opportunity to go down to the paint shop and get more... bought something that i should have on my vl turbo when i had it...a brand new washer/overflow bottle...cost $69.50 incl. postage...damn it looks nice too...also purchased a new washer motor for the vk... now...i mentioned earlier that i may have a vc shell lined up...turns out its in running condition and im in need of a daily as work kind of f^cked me around with the van i was driving...its a vc sl/e...of all things...so fingers crossed that it passes rwc and inspection bay at the rta...woot! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

its the silver off a vr statesman... to match the standard 2 tone paintjob...there series III vs statesman lips so theres a bit of modifying to make it suit...but its part of what i do cheers NZ EVLHSV went to pick up some statesman doortrims today for the other halfs car...and whilst i was there i noticed a poor little 80ltr fuel tank sitting there collecting dust...crying for someone to take it home...so i took it home with me...woot!!! so the vk...in short...will have a drop tank Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey guys long time no speak...have been doing more prep work to the vk...removed all the filler out of the roof...also removed the rear glass aswell as both drivers side doors...of which have been striped of glass, locks, handles, everything... spent the last week or so on the wiring inside the car...mounting the ecu, heater fan, a/c box and heater box which are all in good condition considering they came with the car... also got some new interior parts last week...all in tan...they are a set of calais arm rests, dash cluster surround, dash speaker covers, heater and radio control surround, sunglasses holder, and gear selector cover... now to answer questions... 86_gmh - yeah mate basically everything was removed from the donor vl and stuffed into the vk...so wiring wasnt an issue...although i did come across a couple minor things that are different... 1.drivers side firewall next to the brake booster is a loom hole...which houses a smaller loom on the vk than the vl...so i have to enlarge the hole a little bit to compensate... 2.passenger side firewall doesnt have the fusebox loom hole...so ive decided to keep the fuses/relays in the glovebox...as just about everyone does these days lol... jez...sold it mate...too many things wrong with it and i had just had enough of the ute... pics up in the next couple days Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
