Na no tubbing man, BUT to fit that size on comfortably ul have to go to drums man to be able to get that much off the diff, as with disks the caliper hangs back alot further so can't be shortened much more than 40mm meaning the convo will still sit outside the guard!
Oh and make sure u wind in ur seat belt bolts

12-12-11, 19:49 GMT+10#44 so i bit the bullet and decided to mini tub the car and went for a 15x10x3-3/8 b/s convo pro. measures about 6.5 inchs of dish next on the list is slicks.
i also have the bracket kit for the qa1 double adjustable coilovers im using so ill roughly tack them in place on the diff and then work out where the crossmember for the top of the shock mount is going to end up. that way i can buy the correct length shock to suit my ride height. after that, its time to chop the **** out of everything!

26-12-11, 10:33 GMT+10#46 Slicks are here 15x10x26, but i have to wait for somewhere to open to have them fitted to the wheels. Shocks have been ordered but will not be here till after new years.
My engine is now coming out this week to be rebuilt with good rods and pistons in the new year. While thats out ill try to have my engine bay repainted because of a few bits im not really happy with.

20-01-12, 22:01 GMT+10#50 i notched the rail (cut and squared off the dog leg) to get the wheels to sit further inside the guard. ill now be able to have it tucking nicely and still be able to use skid rims cause thats whats its all about!
my new turbo is built and is being shipped on monday. it is a mr billet Z-P with my old 1.06 gt35 exhaust housing so i wont have to change the dump or wastegate setup. has anybody on here used one before? mark is great to deal with and has fantastic communication skills, lets me know whats happening every step of the way.
also bought a spool engine rebuild kit and a spool sump. kit came with cp forged pistons, rings, forged rods, acl race series bearings and a cometic mls head gasket

05-02-12, 08:13 GMT+10#53 qa1 double adjustable coil overs were $780 with springs and the 4 link about $60 for the sheet of steel and $600 for all the good teflon lined 3/4 rose joints, chrome moly socket ends and bolts. this **** is unbreakable
ill keep the templates for everything though so if anyone is interested i can cut it all out maybe put it all to together and send it to you aswell as a set of instructions of how to fit it.

19-02-12, 15:12 GMT+10#56 yeah possibly but not really.
its on the ground and rolling around now. i had to shorten my pedders adjustable panhard rod to clear the drivers side shock. i love the way it looks now. engine is built and ready to be picked up, but i am having the engine bay repainted first.
sticks is supplying me a haltech ps2000, id2000s and a couple more 044s. meaning all my old stuff is for sale - microtech lt10s with 30psi map sensor, hand controller, 1000cc injectors and aem water/methanol injection kit with 5 litre ally tank. made 308rwkw on 17psi with a highflowed gt35. make me an offer

03-03-12, 23:10 GMT+10#59 cheers fellas.
fitted the passenger side koni adjustable shocks and nolathane adjustable strut tops last week. sits a fait bit higher than it used to so adjustable coilovers are next on the list.
i temporarily dropped the motor in today in preparation for wiring up my new haltech platinum sport 2000 ecu. i still have to send my convertor away to be lossened, the manifold & turbine housing to be coated and paint some other bits before the engine can be bolted in for good. i also had the engine bay repainted, looks about 3.2 million times better than before!
i also have started rewiring the entire car from scratch (only replacing the things i need). i also bought a haltech racepack dash which ill fit where the old cluster went. that will be here early next week.
progress is slow due to long hours at work but ****s getting done!! i cant wait to get the thing back into action
