would it be a stupid idea to make the gold membership applications automated? basically just make it the same as signing up as a non fee paying member except a few more details are require (home address and what not) and options of payment (credit card, paypal, etc). what do you guys think?

I wouldn't allow automated, as there are some people that wouldn't be welcomed in the members section I'll be going through membership requests over the next few days. If you don't get a response by friday, please resend... Steve. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
