Another Package Arrived for me today: Only cheapy stuff but for $30 new i figured it will give me more bass than my 6x9's even if i have to dial it back a bit.... Picked up some Xplod 6x9's today from SuperCheap on special for $129 300W Peak: And my Xplod Head Unit i picked up off a Tassie Forum for $140 posted: Got an Xplod 4 Channel Amp on its way hopefully it will front up tomorrow, and yeah i like Sony Car already has JVC 4" Splits in the front. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Finally got around to installing the Nismo Muffler today. It quietened it down a bit and also deepened the note Also picked up some cheap 17's, not the greatest but they will do Here's a few videos from today: (http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t261/1daniel14/87VL/?action=view¤t=P5160304.flv) (http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t261/1daniel14/87VL/?action=view¤t=P5160301.flv) (http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t261/1daniel14/87VL/?action=view¤t=P5160300.flv) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lol will it last me a little while before it ****s itself? if it dies i guess ill just have to bite the bullet and get a decent 12 incher, this one was just too cheap not to try out. I'll only be pumping 80W RMS (160W Peak) through it with the XPlod amp in bridged mode.

Another shot of the Nismo Muffler, gotta do some modifications and lift it up some still: Also put in some chopped rear springs i had laying around to get an idea of how low i want it: Its fairly low in the rear but will be a tad better once i drop the front down as well. I'm going to go with some Lovells springs (i think) and some Monroe lowered shocks someday soon, would like to have it sitting around this height maybe a fraction higher. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well today i had the day off work and managed to get the front of it lowered aswell, and had a look around all the front end to make sure all was good. Ball joints are all nice and tight, lower arm bushes however rubbery they are, are in good nick and the sway bar links a bit perished but still ok. For those looking at cutting some front springs for drag racing purposes (its illegal on the street lol) or other reasons, here is what has been cut off the springs i put in: Both standard springs just the right one is cut, left is stock. Here are a few pics of what it was before: (http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t261/1daniel14/87VL/?action=view¤t=P4080047.jpg) (http://s162.photobucket.com/albums/t261/1daniel14/87VL/?action=view¤t=P2240001.jpg) And now: I wont be using these springs though once its registered, just getting an idea on how it looks, and im pretty happy with the height. Does anyone know what height spring i would need to get the same effect in King Springs? superlow? There are some on eBay with a 60-70mm and 70-80mm drop im looking at also. Does anyone know where ill be best to find a really neat asteroid silver front-left strip that goes on the gaurd? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah mate its not sitting right, once tucked right up behind the bumper its pretty well un noticable except the tip, but its quietened it down real nice which i like, ive unbolted it tonight and im going to take it to work and relocate the flange so can lift it about 4 inches lol. Blown VL# - Ive been watching your project looks like its coming along quite well, and yeah i have extractors and a redback "high flow" cat but its pretty crap, ill probably be holding off on a 3L build for now, got my sights set on an R32 skyline in the future so the VL might just get tidied up and left how it is for a while.

Thanks mate, the votes are mounting up against the Muffler LOL. Ill see how it looks tomorrow when its been lifted. Otherwise it will be a 600mm long peice of scrap 3 or 3.5 inch stainless from work in its place.
