To answer for the big man, the car will stay as is, full weight with kit, interior and all, and we'll tinker here and there and sneak the boost up every now and then and see what its got. Just gotta ride Col to build a real race car now;-) Kyle

have to be happy with a 9.7 if u can achieve that...although 9.5's are nice to think about....... It couldnt be a bad thing to give it a pass with the interior stripped out of it... but yeh I dunno how extreme you want to go in the weight reduction side of things with that car. as its pretty nice to go cutting to pieces hey Col I guess that's where it helps to have an sl Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

He used to freak when we give it a hit on the street and it spiked to 29psi........ Im sure you will find this tune was only at 28psi or something like that, my eyes were fuzzy from all the tyre smoke turning them on the rollers so it is possible I am wrong hahaha....... Thats why i was asking. Cos i thought that it should have done better numbers and mph on that boost with roo16 thats all. considering my old ****ter went similar times and mph on 24-25psi pump/tollulene with the same turbo. just interested in the engine work and cam setup. how much does the old girl weigh anyway????

johnny ran more than 25psi when he did his 9.90 didnt he? id say cols car would weigh about 150kg more than ur old silver bullet , mind u col is a bit of a heavyweight , as busta said maybe me ollie or busta should drive it , we are lightweights. what cars are coming out whitey , id be interested to go out and have a gander when they race , give me some inspiration to finish mine off.

I wouldn't get too concerned with comparing apples with oranges, it made what it made, it weighs what it weighs, and runs on whatever fuel it runs, and at that, ran a 9.91. The car has seen much more than 30psi, and will probably some day see more than 40psi, what boost it was on when it run 9.9 only 2 people know, and how much more it can run will hopefully show on the time boards in months to come It is for now however running a safe tune up, a baby cam, and weighs about 100-150kg more than some other execs and sl's that have been down the track. Oh, and sh1t suspension, at its first time at the track Till then, we wish everyone the best with finishing their projects and hope to see you all there soon 6BOOST Quote: Originally Posted by OVL087 johnny ran more than 25psi when he did his 9.90 didnt he? And from memory, I think Johnny told me he was running 30 or 32psi, think it was 30. If he reads this feel free to correct me, but think 30 was the figure. 6BOOST Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
