I got talked to Grant today and will be placing my order at the end of the week. I'll post pics up of the T04Z and the GT45 when i get them next week. Jakes performance uses the Gt45's and his wastegates so they should be pretty good.

My order turned up yesterday. Looks heaps better than stuff from Monsta, especially the wastegate which i'm told Jakes Performance uses on his torana. I got a T66 with 1.00 rear, GT45 and 60mm wastegate. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

why are his 'to4z's rated 50hp lower than his 'gt35's?

there was an error on the website, i quried this also. the wheel sizes are as stated on the website, which would support higher power than the GT35, was just listed wrong apparently, but the rear housing would make a difference. he didnt get back to me on an exact power figure, but it is higher than the GT35 the gear looks great! definitely keen to get some through him in the future

There was a supra at Autosalon that made over 700rwhp with the GT45. Wastegate I got is the same as on Jakes Performance Torana.

theres a t66 im gettin off him for my vl he said a vl made 410 at the wheels on 12psi with dyno sheets to prove with a smaller rear wheel, im gettin one off him to try with same housing but with a bigger rear wheel so ther boost should be around 3k rather than 3.5k

lol, someones dyno is on drugs, an ls1 would make 400 on 12, not an rb.

How big is the To4e compared to t3/t4 stock turbo?

miskArchived member
T04e is generally a 500hp turbo, not sure what size the T3 is, but its smaller than a T04e

Thats given the turbo has been assembled and balanced correctly.

Just want to Add we HyparGear is not same as KKR, If your brother can get them for peanuts then are “look alike” products. Housings from some models might looks similar but the internals and design concept of the actual turbo is very different. All of our manufacturing and assembly process are carried out in Australia. Plus we offer warranty for 12 month on all high performance applications. You can run them on 25psi daily like what I do. (hoo if you ask its a CA18det powered Sil180 running our internally gated ATR28 (T28 size turbo) and pulling 282KWs wheels)
