Actually, the tunned length manifolds are still on, However i believe it makes little difference, as stated jakes performance are making over 1000hp with stock VS casties, Iv'e made 4 sets of turbo manifolds for holden v8's now and all are using cast manifolds including my own car which went 10.8 first and only time out. One set i made was for a pre-efi headed WB, reversing manifolds on older heads is a little bit more of a stuff around but can be done, alternatively you can make a cross over as stated by someone else already. The 35r is perfect for a stock engine, dont worry about the internal gate just yet. People are comparing rpm x engine capacity to gain exhaust output but we know these factors can change greatly, just think of a highly effecient 5L engine making 600hp @ 6000rpm, then think of a stock 5L revving at 6000rpm, its making about 280hp? which one outputs more exhaust? clearly the more effecient one does, yes some of the power came from a more complete burn, but most of it came from being able to process more air. You're far better comparing the amount of hp an engine is making rather than size and rpm to guess exhaust output. because at the end of the day a 600hp engine needs AT LEAST 600hp worth of air to make that power.

idiots, stop making a mess of my thread!!!
thanks for your input aZ'
yea ive bort some vn heads, and my 308 is standard stroke,30up,has a crane 286 with double row timing chain an all the normal sht u do, im gona see how the cam goes with the turbo,im guessing ill hafto go something smaller,or invest in a roller. i hope it makes some power around the 300-400hp, its my goal anyway..it aint gona be anything special (will be for me) but i rekon should be fun to drive an turns some heads on the princess :P
PLEASE KEEP THIS KEYBOARD WAR OUTA MY THREAD.
make ur own stupid thread about baggin some rat that talks **** thanks.

hahaha so true, all vlt owners just take their cars to workshops and hand over cheques, oh and fit stupid stickers to the side. That probably gets subcontracted as well...
Dispite my sarcasm, i think he makes a good point, this isnt the place to find good info. 747 PM me of you want more info on making manifolds etc.
