On that same loom though is the headlight wiring, so that will be run inside the guards. The hole on the other side of the bay for the engine loom is still there, and as of last night has been stuffed full of wires Quote: Originally Posted by lorg Wow what can i say Liam this looks unreal well done on the build. It's funny, this time last year was the first time we met the Maatouks crew, getting Anthony to fab me up an exhaust and buying parts off him while we were doing the first conversion Quote: Originally Posted by DIXIE will it have a minor bun engine? We ran the body loom last night which was a job I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Also started filling out the bay with button-head stainless allen key bolts which look really good. The plan is to have the interior in (or as close as possible) before the weekend, when the motor goes in. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I can appreciate that look on the right car, in fact I love it on the right car, but this isn't the right car. With the door mould stickers and the stickers on the screens I think it wouldn't look complete. Don't worry about the ride height though, we've got that sorted Quote: Originally Posted by 7FOUR7 it would look ****house on vlt hubbies with stickers down the doors IMO... Stickers, walls, gauges, no tints. custom yellows...not exactly LDM on the Jets I don't think, but we'll see how we go Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Sweet, as close to that as mine is getting is custom yellows and some Gold fr19s, hardly sydney spec but I reccon she'll look sex. Got me a microtech for it the other night so it looks like I might send it to the maatouks boys when it's time to tune Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

You've got the yellows man, and the gold wheels on the blue paint will look hot. A Nice blue Maatouks sticker and you'll be bringing Sydney back Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I hope your not going to put 20" chromes and tan leather with your beast... Ifso, I'm sorry but we just can't be friends any more.

No way, but if money was no option I'm sure a deep read leather interior and chrome AMEs wouldn't be far off

It strikes me as the kind of thing that would break down in the city when it got too hot and vapourised it's own fuel; or, say, snap a tailshaft coming onto the M4 trying to impress two old guys in a Tarago. I can't speak from experience, but it strikes me as that sort of car Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Nah man, it's just not a combination I can think of seeing before. Traditional Calais trim, pin striping and silver/grey paint scheme although red door stickers, modern styled 19 inch wheels with the big PBR brakes (red), smoothed bay, 2.5L Turbo etc.. just a nice tasteful mix, not too out there although not something you see every day. It's tough to do something different in the VL world and have it actually look good, although I think Liam might just do it - on a budget as well.

You don't get anywhere doing business like that mate, everything on this build has a price tag attached to it. The paint and bodywork was paid for in cash, and the motor and trim were sourced privately - no freebies here And HLUCN8 became BOWDWN, a charcoal/black Calais with Hell Boy airbrushed on the bonnet Quote: Originally Posted by stoney oh.. sorry its not a 253 with a dodgy 4 barrel conversion Haha I never said I prefered the VB. That VL was mad fun Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
