j's may be slow but its somewhere to start jumping straight into a rotax can be dangerous and expensive. its alot easier to lean in a j then a rotax and its still a heap of fun. that said rotax's are awsome

i race at oakliegh along with michael thats how i know him lol
i race in the leopard light class n trust me its bloody hard.
i reckomend starting off with a s engine as there so much easier to run and alot cheaper.
were the rotaxes r jst one big head *** in my view but its up to you...
