15-10-08, 19:51 GMT+10#41 nah the detective looking after my case has other priorties .. might have to go to St.Kilda Station and report it and get someone higher up the chain to work on it or put some pressure on him.

I dont want to be giving a ****ty lead here.
But i work at the action indoor centre at Tulla, and someone like him comes in to watch couple guys play volleyball. Looks AWFULLY like him. Ill speak to the guys without causing a fuss, and see what that blocks name is for you.

26-11-08, 07:09 GMT+10#46 New development today. The detective contacted me today to inform me that they have caught Tauru, and he has been charged and remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court today. He was found in Fawkner, but I don't know if it was a traffic stop or a house raid. He did say they raided 2 properties and found no sign of my car.
Upon questioning he wouldn't speak about the car on the tape. Off the tape he mentioned the car was gone. That is all he would say on it. Very underwhelming but he he is off our streets for a couple of years I hope. Might head down to the Magistrates court and smile and wink if he makes eye contact.
They also questioned the bloke in Roxburgh Park who bought the cheque to be used in the scam. The Detective said he denied all knowledge of the cheque being bought under his name. As he had several family members that looked like him, they couldn't charge him with an offence they have doubt over who actually conspired to comitt.

27-11-08, 06:05 GMT+10#52 not when his been wanted for so long, and been convicted for this **** before, and this time he was wanted for over 30 counts of theft, fruad etc.
This knob will be going for a long long time, and when he does eventually get out he will have other "people" to worry about.

10-12-08, 16:38 GMT+10#55 I would be soo pissed off, Post pictures of your car on every car forum possible to get people to look out for it, then go get it back man this is rediculous. your 13.800 out of pocket, lost your car and didnt get revenge i would be very frustrated.
What do people think, most value out of his car -would he be able to sell it being stolen? or just sold his rims and motor? and burnt it

"fark bro, sorry to hear, i wish the story was that u left your daughter and missus at the shops, got the VS to over 200kms an hour in a chase and forced the xr6 to make a mistake and crash and burn into a pole at over 160k's an hour, he'll be even more cautious now, looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life. good luck with it. giving kiwi's/maori's a bad name."
