if the alarm installers had anythin to do with it what so ever, it would have been long gone! i doubt they'd sit down the road and pull **** out when they know how to byepass all that ****.... but on the other hand u could take them to court and win for all damages on the basis of: if the alarm had been installed to correct specifications then the siren would be ON. once the door was jimmied or window smashed, etc. people would have heard the siren and the theifs would have run. neglegence on there behalf.

Thats a lot of car alarm installs to make that kind of cash. I have a good friend that works from home and does all mine and my mates cars. Never had a problem!

mate i rekon its got somthing to do with the alarm installers, they have to have the alarm fully installed and working 100% before they should give it back to the customer IMO, they have set it up and gone down there or sent somebody down and done it knowing that the alarm wouldnt go off... was there a broken windw or stuffed lock or something? if they got in without a stuffed lock or a broken window or marks on the window/weatherstrip indicating they got in with a slimjim, they got in with a 2nd key... did you give your address to the alarm people?

The main problem in my opinion, no body like a VL early model commodore enthusiast knows how to break into their own cars. There's not just cop's to worry about reading out posts on this site sometimes.
