thanks for the comments boys. Will certainly be sussing out the pod and piping when i get the chance. Maybe i could use stock piping with a dumby AFM and adapter then pod filter on the end so its all the right length? Big thanks to luke(rbfrog) at Sears Automotive for doing a good job once again, very easy to deal with. Exhaust is made up of mild steel and has been flanged off in sections to make for easy removal later on if needed. A high flow muffler was fitted while the old catalytic converter is still in use. If the cat becomes a restriction later on when i have more power then that can be easily replaced as i probably wont see any gains from a high flow cat with the mild mods i have on the car at the moment. Car is louder and sounds tough but its not over the top which is perfect as its still my daily. I havent really noticed any power gains from the exhaust mainly because i am still running stock boost. I will post pics of the car soon but its filthy and weather seems to be pretty **** for the rest of the week so ill see if i can be bothered giving it a quick wash tomorrow while the suns out. Next step will be to get the car dynoed so the boost can be raised safely. Looking to get that done this weekend if not next.

Really impressive dude. It has come a long way! I like where you are taking this build, stealthy, not over the top and look's like a really driveable car! Have you thought about the VT front brake upgrade? Also to continue the dressed engine bay theme, maybe look into one of these heatchields. Powdercoated black would look fantastic with the rest of you're bay! http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=161684 Then it would just be a case of cleaning up a few of the wire's, possibly relocating that alarm siren and getting a battery bag to hide you're battery while maintaining that OG look to it. And definitley put the OG Airbox on it too. Airbox flutter is way better than dose pipe! This car could possibly be a future YEP_Boost contender if you keep going! Thanks for the comments boys. Yeti-i also think a heat shield would look good will probably get around to that later. Car still needs alot of work Im trying to maintain it as much as i can as its still my daily driver. A break upgrade is certainly not out of the equation. Weezy - i bought the car with those wheels on it, i dont mind them but i do agree that some other rims might suit the car better(maybe VY sigs or VE GTS'???). VIDUBC - i have absolutely no intension in selling this car. This project is a long term investment. Quote: Originally Posted by VLAero6 Thanks for the comments boys. ShaunVL - i have no clue how much the aero body kits are worth as it was on the car when i bought it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

^^^ Cheers bro. Car is so much more fun to drive when its Aspirated ....Update.... Took the car to JPC early this morning to get it dyno tuned. The result was a bit of a suprise. The car made 202RWKW on 15psi. Found out that something was hooked up wrong to the malpassi reg, forgot what the guy said though, i just had a massive grin on my face when he told me the figure . The car has a **** load more torque down low than it did before. The car comfortably fries the tyres in first and second, love it . Also got told that the turbo isnt holding 15 psi all the way as it spikes then drops back down to 10psi because the actuator needs replacing. Was giving it hard all the way to uni untill i realised the clutch was starting to slip when i gun it from 3rd gear onwards. Ive been saving cash to get some gauges installed but i guess they will have to wait as i think a Heavy duty clutch is more important. I know that some dyno's are happier than others but the engine feels as though it has come alive with the extra boost and just runs better over all. Very happy with the result considering my car only has a cooler, exhaust and malpassi reg. I also found it suprising how they managed to sqeeze 15 psi through the stock turbo, but hey im not complaining! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
