Got her back the other week New cam belt, runs much better. Just need a new exhaust gasket for where the headers connect to the exhaust. Sound system is being put in, half installed atm lol Just gotta put the head unit in + make it less stealable, gotta screw down the subby + amp in the boot (its sitting on the lip in the back, sub will need a bracket) and rewire the floating wiring system just straight to the speakers and back. Dual battery system going in at a later date.

Nahh, Melbourne, Frankston to be exact. New sound system is in, works a treat though new 6" speakers and a bigger amp for the sub are on the way when i get the cash. Got a power steering leak and another exhuast leak! Will fix them both soon, i got a new gasket and some powersteering oil just gotta find the oil leak, stop it and put the new gasket on the exhuast. I'll post some pics when the 6" are in with the bigger amp. I'd like some VY GTS rims but doubt that'l happen atm. Counting down the months untill p's, 10 months to go! Shame about the stupid green p's.

New power steering rack, gearbox rebuilt. Handles and shifts pretty damn well. Got coolant/wiper resovoir and a heater vacuum from the wreckers, they work a treat. And a new clip for drivers side door arm rest/handle. New crank angle sensor helps, idles much better. Just gotta polish her up, polish the calais wheels and get the rest of the sound system Thinking about venetians, shift kit and a lip spoiler. All comes down to $$$ though Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

New 1000watt rms amp for the subby, car is now muzza spec because it rattles like a bitch. New alpine type s 6.5's on the parcel shelf. Sounds proofing soon Not sure about a dual battery just yet though. Radiator+coolant lines+some oil lines were leaking, so got new lines, thermostat+housings, radiator repaired and new belts. Runs much better now Took the calais down to the car wash, gave the bay and the car a much needed clean. Calais looks a treat now, just need to polish those calais wheels! Speedo's fixed too so car's nearly perfect, although I wouldn't mind some more power...... 6 months and counting untill P Plates Ill try and post some pictures soon. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

A mate and I stuffed the boot ribbing full of insulation today, still rattles like a bitch though (number plate, rear garnish/tail lights, parcel shelf, fuel tank?). The brake booster front bracket/mount and battery clamp were rusted so they were taken back to bare metal, primed and re-sprayed white and black. Will take pictures on a sunny day (if Victoria is priviliged enough to have one). Well, hopefully anyway Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
