I really cant see any damage to the suspension. front bar is only real cracks and obviously the rim. vlwagz - I dont really know. I dont want it to turn into a 6 month - year thing, and I do have a fair bit of time on my hands. who knows. hoping for only a month or two. I am a bit worried about the paint not matching tho.

update: front bar is now sanded back(**** i am sick of sanding!), and have just finished covering all the cracks up with fibreglass. tomorrow will be continued sanding and fibreglassing. still dont quite know what painter to go to, am talking to some more people tomorrow. will take some photos when all the fibreglassing is finished and sanded back.

update: whole kit is off, and more sanding. then more fibreglassing. looks a bit different now with all the peices off. also have dummy fitted the calais boot strip and surroundings on the rear, have reconditioned them peices as well as the centre peice between the lights. both peices are waiting for a polish. pretty happy with how the rear is looking thats for sure. will be ordering rear lower bar peice and finding calais front in the coming weeks. will get pics up of progress asap. slowly slowly slowly coming together. (actually... coming apart)

Pics: calais rear surrounds dummy fitted, needs a final polish. will recondition the holden badge and put it on, as well as a turbo badge(dont quite know yet if red or silver). also obviously rear bar is off, and centre peice of for paint a polish. the lights will also get a polish. the front bar all sanded back and fibreglassed. needs a little more fibreglass, then body filler and more sanding. primed up ready for a coat of midnight black. also holden badge waiting for recondition. side skirts are also off, and need to sand back to fibreglass the crack from the previous owner. sanding back is so freakin boring. exhaust is coming off tonight, and probably more sanding. anyone want to come give me a hand? lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Im also keen on seeing a silver turbo badge on your car Todd, and imo you should get rear calais tail lights and garnish, but thats my personal opinion, looks nice man. Big effort on the sanding back lol

been a while since i updated. The rear end is back together, all that is needed is the badges to finish that off. Side skirts are also back on. Front bumper is all together and ready to go on. calais front is still in the process (working out whether to go fibreglass or original still!??!???!?!) spent the last 2 days moving the battery to the boot, to get the ball rolling for the JD customs plenum that i got my hands on. i need a 600x300 intercooler as well as the piping to suit, so if anyone has anything that can help let me know. also have polished up the rocker cover, and will make sure the plenum is nice a shiney as well. will get photos up asap Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Picking it up tomorrow night. Keen as hell to see what it looks like. They have said the colour matching is pretty much spot on. Will make sure I give it a detail and get some photos up. calais front, LE grill and front bar have been painted and are waiting to harden. It will be put together tomorrow. Also spoke to a mate this week and am getting hooked up with a new haltech E6X for a decent price. also need fuel system upgrade. I'm looking to test out the E85 fuel and see where it gets me so it will be a while getting all the peices together but should be fun Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
