haha as if ur car struggles yeh i think i agree with what you are saying, it took me 4 years.... obviously i ****ed around a lot in the process trying to achieve more on straight pump fuel, but i guess if u can come close with pump, once u add the tol, or tune on c16, ur almost guaranteed another 80rwhp if ur engine likes the **** Hey andy, not sure if I asked yet, but have u got ur sump yet ?? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah.........stuff the trying to make bulk power on pump....doesn't interest me besides anything around 350rwp (genuine not internet warrior ****) is more then enough on the street hey andy........haven't spoke to you in a while, you said you where waiting on a sump?..............got it yet??

**** its new years on Thursday.. **** Andy, I wonder if thats gunna delay the delivery of ur sump... ? Ahh well, hey let me know if u need a hand putting the inlet plenum or the rocker cover back on k.... I know it can all get a bit hard when u do a full house rebuild and everything gets washed away in the garage when it floods. I've got a box of spare nuts n bolts if u need any.. I cant see why it wont make more than 400 RwHp, mine makes more than that on pump(586) and with the slight mod getting done this week and adding another 10 psi it should make even more again.........

agh boys and girls , mum just rung me , toll priority just arrived and delivered the sump. now i just need to weld on some speedflow fittings johnny - do u take it back to dysons for tuning as bretto did , or have u got your own preffered tuner

Johnny, just to clarify, when we're talkin about pump fuel, I personally, and probably quite a few others are talkin straight pump - straight out of the bowser no additaves.. I know ur mix is predominantly pump fuel, but adding toluene to it.. in my books makes it no longer pump fuel.. its pump +plus+ as keith puts it lol or alternatively - cheap C16 without the homologation. Col, you can never have enought power on the street lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Col, you can never have enought power on the street lol yeah.........toluene or acetone..........gets a little tiring hearing i use "pump" fuel when most of us know better, but how does it go when the guys that don't know better see the power claims on here?? they start wondering what they have done wrong with there set-up when they only make 350rwhp instead of 500rwhp......they have done nothing wrong except believe the bull**** that gets banded about! I can see where you guy's are coming from with straight pump, yes I use Tol but I would say 99% of pump fuel cars run it or another type of additave, Mine is pump with Tol(I have never try to hide the fact) how much of it? I never actually measure the amount that goes in to be able to give you the exact figure %, but i do know it still made around 440(15psi) on genuine straight pump,, I have never use C16 or anything else other Bp Ultimate, I was told that PULP has Tol already in it when you buy it, just small amounts to make sure it's at the minimum ron, how true I'm not 100% . either way dont worry me pump or pump with tol is still using a ****ter fuel compare to a race fuel like C16

where is my popcorn i dont think people should compare there cars to other cars,to many variants, head work, tuners, dynos, cam setups My combo made 480rwhp on straight pump, detuned to 430rwhp pump..pump/tol..until there is thousands of dollars of prize money involved it does not matter if someone is on 80%nitro,or mower fuel or nankangs,et street radials they are the hot topics in life on a forum pump fuel and street tyres,i love it when it comes up everyone has diffrent opinions and usually ends bad

Quote: Never ends bad Maxpsi, it's like using water metho injection, not really using pump cause Methonal is about 120 ron so thats more than pump fuel..... Not really...if you do a bit of reading, it will quickly become apparent that some of the big power cars (rotarys in particular) down south are using pump fuel, and water injection (WATER ONLY) and they're making plenty more than 500rwhp.. no methanol in the water.. Quote: pump fuel and street tyres,i love it when it comes up everyone has diffrent opinions and usually ends bad I know wat you're saying Keith, but im still not really sure how people get confused and have such differeing opinions, it's pretty self explanatory Pump fuel = pumped fuel from the bowser = no additaves Street tyres = any tyre that is legally allowed to be driven on on the street Now I know that some people will mention the point of a MT ET Street radial giving undeniably more traction than even the stickiest conventional 'street' tyre (18" nankang for example) but if ur budget allows, you could well and truly drive around on MT ET Streets everyday of the week and not have a worry in the world as to whether or not ur fudging street approval/legality. They are DOT approved and as long as they're packing legal tread, 100% street, exactly the same as ur legal tread depth Nankangs. My point I guess then is that pump with toluene added, at any percentage, is not legal for the street, nor in any drag racing class as far as im aware, and it's not how you buy it from the pump..
