01-10-07, 19:14 GMT+10#44 hey guys, i don't want to take a position here but its pretty low to dish out on someone on an internet forum, i don't particularly like the plate but maybe some people do.
i do however like my walkinshaw glovebox signed by Tom walkinshaw, my walky biante model and a few other bits and pieces i have collected over the years. undoubtedly this man loves his 'trinkets aswell'
so, give him a break. one day someone will be walking around a garage sale and pick one of these up for a few bucks and make a killing on ebay. think about that.

cmon guys lets leave the name of a defencless toddler out of things 09WNS was simply stating his sons name which is no different to naming a son after a late great grandfather etc(apart from the relation) i think people on an internet forum should stick to the topic at hand because mackin on this dude for what he names his son is quite frankly horsesh1t and the fact that it actually hurt the guys feelings and upset his wife (which is understandable) just puts the icing on the cake!! grow up please your not judging weather or not ''you like the look of those wheels on that car'' thats an oppinion- this is none of your business- this is insulting someones family
end rantcheers regards ben

The opinions aren't the problem, it's having a go at someone for the choice of name for our son and because of the stupid comments that have been left . That is what got my goat, ok.
Please just have a little bit more respect, if you don't like the plate then just say so, don't go around badmouthing people for their choice of collectables as neither of us would do that to you!
All's fine until you insult someone and they have a go at you, then you have a bitch session and complain about us having a go at you, what's fair in you having a go at us.
All I am asking is that you leave my choice of name for my child out of your tauntings, get over it, and have a little more compasion about what you say. That is all I am asking. It's not a lot to ask but in years to come my son's and daughter may read what you've writen and have a lot of choice words to say about your behaviour.
Thanks guys.

03-10-07, 03:00 GMT+10#57 Wow, nice collectors item mate. Don't know how this whole topic got out of hand with his kid, but I guess I couldn't expect much from some of the clowns on here, who like to make unnecessary comments towards their money and families.

Yes, we adore PB and are proud of what we have called our son, if you don't like it, then that's your problem not ours, just keep your unnecessary comments to yourself.
I wasn't going to join this forum but your attacking my family and that's just not on.
Keep to the subject of the topic which as I said is "My Peter Brock LE Plate" and leave my son's name out of it. What is writen under 09WNS signature is up to him and you do not have the right to badmouth him.
I'm surprised you left the F word out!!!
1. Did you call your son brock because it meant running stream?? or because you were fans of brock and he was born in 05??
2.I'm not attacking your family in anyway. nor am I attacking a defenceless todler nor am i badmouthing 09WNS!! I simple said OH MY GOD! I expressed my opinion on your choice of name. Weather or not you named the child after peter brock or not I don't like the name.
3.If you can't handle someone expressing their opinion I think you better give internet forums a big miss.
4.I don't like the plate i think it OMG ugly.
5. I'm surprised you left the F word out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
