There's enough interest from a few places so the next batch is
underway and will be ready soon, about 10 days from now...

Yes this is a sensible idea and was one of the first things I
explored in Perth,
Unfortunately each place I spoke to expected to see somewhere
between 60 and 100% profit from each sale and wanted all the
marketing and groundwork done for them or said 'sure, leave
some in the shop and we'll let you know' or one guy said "why dont
you arrange a ticket for us to taiwan and we can make it there
and I'll sell it", yeah right - I'm not a source of free international
trips for 'look see' expeditions!
The other issue is that the fuse rail is designed for a car thats
16 years old or so, although I'm sure that rail was used on other
holdens, I just dont have the time to go into that market
exploration, if anyone from Holden is listening, do they
have a list of which cars use the "92030036 Panel Main Fuse"
from Holden parts ?
I might consider selling the intellectual property rights outright
but so far all the people were 'hom hum' because they didnt
think 30% profit margin was enough for sales <sigh>
If however anyone is interested in buying the whole design
outright them email me privately on my direct email
<[email removed]>
Par for the course I suppose in a country where most people
in business gamble on the stock market and spend the same
amount weekly on booze and dont understand the subtleties
of intellectualising a developing market for third party
accessories for older cars... Well thats my initial opinion
anyway, though there are a few other options to pursue
for related developments and it could form part of a package,

If its anything like the comparison one on this link then I'm
sympathetic and trembling with anxiety if you are inclined
to be confident overtaking a fuel tanker ;-)

Although there has a been a slight delay in manufacture, dont panic
its in the works...Prob a few more days to a week... <sigh>

Has there been any progress on the Fuse Rails or is it a Dead Thing now?
Cheers , Joe

Nah he finished this up a while ago champ. Its not really a hard thing to do urself. Just need a bit of time and patience. Go down to **** smiths and they will have all the parts you need to make your own and mount it pretty much anywhere - glovebox always looks sweet

I wouldnt mind having a go at it.... whats to it really... getting some PCB board soldering pins to it for the fuses and making joins between the ignition, accessories and all that... then just labelling the board *shrugs* its just a 'copy' of the original board.

I'm back, havent died, fallen off the edge or anything drastic but
had 2 major PC crashes since I was last on this board, lost a heap
of client and project data, had a panel of boards made, had them
pinched from my back seat and after all the trouble I went to
get the thickness and routing issues sorted, attended to a major client
stuff up, so I had no interest in getting another set of boards at
the time and to cap it all off a depressing personal drama, enough
said, back to normal programming I guess
The original design files have been recovered from the last PC crash
and combined with a previous backup, was work in progress until a
major job came up to pay off backlog, that has dragged on what
with client changing their mind, messing around with payments
and weird office politics, enough said on that too <sigh>
So I expect to be back in business shortly, this email was a great
reminder to bring the second version out with enough volume
to make a sizable batch for stock as well over next 12months,
so thing for me to do now is review design since I have been
asked a little while ago to consider amending it for other models
up to VS, I've since acquired a VS rail and could add the edge
relief to accomodate relay holders on the rail, could get to this
on weekend, theres no point in just copying the last one as
the circuit board artwork wasnt full production quality, so worth
implementing the updates and getting a new panel underway,
which I might be able to do over weekend if client doesnt
hassle me before end of this month.
Also, I have little time on the net to do much browsing over
forums unless I get an email and on occasions this forum has
been down, with so much else to do I cant keep surfing the
net, so if anyone wants any info or suggestions, please email
me directly <[email removed]> and I'll happily tell you
I'm too busy to philosophise but need to get things done ;-)

Thanks Platinum,
Wish I had of taken the chance to do another batch a while ago,
wouldnt have messed people around - I really hate that, now that
end of April is Fri, no more hassles from clients over w/end or
early next week and that will be a nice change of pace to get
the design reviewed, so you can hold me to that if you like :-)
I'll email on this thread progress next week,
Cheers
