Single turbo setup wont be much different either by the time you add up everything needed

Injectors, pump, cooler, brackets, pulleys, blower and ECU???

http://www.capa.com.au/kits_holden_vnvt_v8.htm Stage 2 kit for $6,995 would be good for you. Could probably do most of the install yourself too Quote: Originally Posted by HEKTIK yeah but from what i've looking into the turbo set-up boost for boost over blowers apparently outperforms Yeah me too, but I am only doing this because it's cheap for the results I will get

yeah i was looking at a gt42 set up for my gts. i know i will have to beef up the motor a fair bit. not looking for anything stupid, around the 350rwkw mark. Tune it on low boost for starters and then beef it up, and then wind it up.....then smoke em up....lol.... this coffee is starting to effect me.

What do you fella's reckon it would cost drive in drive out price for a procharger on a vt series 1 gts. Its got the 6 speed so box is plenty tough, might need a new clutch though? Whilst not trying to hijack your thread Alex...save me crerating a new one.... think of the avatar as a source of discipline.....lol that it does To help answer your question.. to my knowledge no one makes a Procharger kit for an EFI Holden as yet.... Although I hear through the grape vine that DNA Motorsport is working on it (it may be already done as I type this?) maybe someone needs to cut that grapevine down and find out for sure Cost??? Depends where you want to start and where to stop? I would say realisticly you'll be looking at around $12K drive in and out at a stab... then any other supporting mod would be an option... To give you some idea how good they realy are I went past to help a friend out with his car last night as he was doing the first oil change on the blower unit... anyway while they were there they threw in some 36Lb injectors (not neally enough we run 60Lbs) and played with the tune a bit to make it safe as the car is going for a drive to melbourne today (keep in mind its still taking it easy and needs to do a fuel system) with a safe tune and no timing running out of fuel it made 288RWKW on a bone stock LS1...... There is no reason that it wont make 350-360 once the fuel system goes in we make just over 400 only difference is a cam Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i'm going a smallish twin turbo kit for the LS1, around 330-350rwkw on stock motor. Was reading a std motor untouched, and std gearbox ran a 10.55-10.8. Plus more kits coming up 2nd hand so works out cheaper.

Just been down to see my mechanic... the Procharger looks mint, pretty big, but not sure of the model He said after working out everything again he can’t do it for $4,000. So it’s going to cost another $700, effectively for the tune (reprogram factory Delco) Still by the sounds of it $4,700 isn’t too bad for a Procharger, brackets, pipes, belts, injectors, fuel pump, tune, and installation I am taking it in next Wednesday provided my front tyres turn up in time
