Here are some in progress photos of the rust removal that I got from the guys at Malaga Rust Repair. As you can see its pretty bad when they have rubbed back the paint to expose the rusted panels! Pic of some of the newly fabricated pillar next to the old rotten section And a pic of the new panel and pillar section installed and the POR rust treatment being applied I've installed a new boot seal, bootlid closes really easily now! Getting the suspension replaced before Christmas then can get the car painted early next year! Also picking up my new plates this week so I'll get some new pics up soon... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just a quick update, spent a lots of $$$ on getting a new brakes system, worth every cent. Has had no trouble pulling up even with the boat on the back. Also bought another calais to wreck with the same interior so I have a new mint rear seat In the next few weeks the suspnesion is going to get overhauled new springs, shocks, bushes everything then I'll be saving for my paint. I've decided to keep it original now, I cant bring myself to cut holes into her or anything for performance mods... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Thanks for your comment. I have another turbo motor was going to build a big HP engine but I'm keeping the calais stock now. So probably buy another VLCT for the other engine Damn VL's are an addiction... Oh yes and update, going in for a complete suspension removal on Thursday. Every piece is getting replaced with new gear. Will pop up some photos on Friday or Saturday of the new setup Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

All the suspension work is done Lovells Super Lows KYB shocks Lovells Fully Adjustable Camber Kit Whiteline front and rear sway bars Adjustable panhard rod All bushes replaced New lower arms in rear Custom from ball joints and arms in front I also had one of the front struts replaced Steve drove it on the cruise 2 weekends ago and loved it But that was before the strut was replaced and the sway bars were installed... and its perfect now. I also bought some 18' VY SS rims to go on in the next week or two, then I'll get the calais rims professionally polished. Here are some pics... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
