Chris really needs to get a watermark for his shots, or at least some recognition that they're his

yeah usually i say these are chris from work's pics- but no one knows who he is. When you read this post, join me at Chris' desk in convincing him to get a watermark.

they don't go anywhere... My mate from work goes nearly every wednesday night with his camera, and on the thursday morning he gives me a copy of all the pics he takes. I then post all the VL ones up here for people to see and also if people have requests for particular cars i dig can try and dig them up. Not every VL is represented sadly, as he isn't down on the tree shooting all night!

Can't make boost on the line makes it a manual in my books. I still don't class it with 33/MX7 boxed vehicles either though as Carlos said. And i know what Carl was hinting at haha, but the t04z is as brad said, a baby in the drag racing world Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Will it maintain boost through the shifts like an auto?

touchy subject its manual box as it requires manual shiftling and has a clutch gforce 5r is what its running this is straight off the web site The GF-5R clutchless transmission utilizes split, spring-loaded sliders. The engagement lugs on each half are ramped on the deceleration side. When the shift lever is pulled into first gear, both slider halves move to engage the first gear faceplate. When the shift lever is moved to the second gear position, only the slider half-facing second gear moves to engage that gear. At this time, both gears are engaged momentarily, but second gear causes the main shaft to increase its rotational speed. This speed difference kicks the first gear side of the slider out of engagement, (hence the need for the ramped engagement lugs). Subsequent gear changes operate the same way. All shifts are made at full throttle, without the use of the clutch, just as they are with a planetary transmission.

Here is a sample, check out the sound of a two step, it's about 3min40sec into the clip .......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnqsaDUBySA Quote: Originally Posted by 7FOUR7 far out, no converter, no transbrake... i class it manual Exactly right. I'd like to see these people say to a racer in Top Doorslammer, Pro Stock or Top Alcohol that their vehicles run an automatic transmission. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
