The only adjustments that can be made are with resistance in the AFM. I still want someone to explain to me in correct terms, how an N/A ecu can possibly have a heavier fuel map than a turbo ecu when the map callibration is for a lower 260cc injector?

Any one that thinks an NA motor isnt a time bomb is an ignorant clown Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

OH PETE THATS CLASS MAN... HAHA

Charles motor isnt a time bomb at all. Weve had that at 17psi with a high flow! Besides who gives a 5hit when they cost 200 bucks!

But as a map increases the ecu still controls rpm and load points. So technically speaking it shouldnt matter how quick it revs. Are you sure the duty cycles are longer? I would have thought theyd be the other way around?

That is what I thought as well. Hmmm I have a contact with an eprom burner that wants to remap my vl, he said give him an NA ecu as he basically re writes the whole fuel and ign map so I can keep my orig 3ta ECU untouched in case of any issues. He may be able to tell me.

i didnt say its better mate but i said it can be done an has been done many times thats all, an like i said if its done right it shouldnt run out of fuel, but with your setup you can go more if its all vlt parts on my brothers pink walky which was on this forums a while ago he had 15psi all day everyday but he had all vlt parts ecu an all but na/ engine the car went to darwin an if you look it up you will find it still, it was immac by the time the car got there it through few guys it got run down but still was going we had it like that for 7or8months my a guy rocked up in the car wash an decided to buy it there an then an from there it went to darwin an few people owned it there.

CBF reading the whole thread.... You put a bigger injector in where a smaller one was and the car is going to run richer. Bigger injector programed to pulse for the same period of time as a small injector will supply more fuel, hence why even when you have aftermarket ECU and you go bigger the whole map has to be trimmed to compensate... The VL ECU can now be mapped aswell, there is a place that does it, link is in the S.A section. Looks like a neat conversion anyway, not sure if the power is quite believable on that boost through an auto but im not here to argue. Love the sleeper look.

I don't think i've ever seen anyone bag Them on this web site, at all , this is Sydney, not Melbourne, all the vlt boys help each other up here! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

that power reading sounds about right, seeing as though it's high comp.. it's like running 16 psi... rememer the rule of thumb kids, roughly 3psi = 1.0 of compression!
