11-04-07, 21:20 GMT+10#48 Repair is easy sand back with fine paper say 180 to 320 grit paper use fine filler (the white ultra fine glazing putty) for any scuffs or major inperfections.
Then putty, wet rub back and re-spray I restored a set and did them with a clear coat came up great, but took me ages to do, very fiddly and I only sold them to a guy off here for $130, Too cheap they were mint I should have kept them.
Here's a phot of my old hubbies, I restored, just needed to paint the outer rivets and Holden logo in either red or black but could not be bothered.

07-05-07, 13:39 GMT+10#54 Just on a side note, I've seen and encountered a few absolutely standard VL Turbo's over the year's, and noticed a couple of them have had these weird wheel's in like a triangle design with the word 'Performance' on them.
Dealer option perhap's?

07-05-07, 14:00 GMT+10#59 I can't believe you guys are actually talking about hubcaps like this. They are just plastic covers for crappy steel wheels… not really that cool
