Ok, i know the answer and only i know. I won't give you the long story. Short story, the scuttle panel was heavilly rusted/also under the front screen so when i was prepping the car and repairing the rust, i decided it would look better if i smoothed the panel off and welded in a new plate. I thought it would 'smooth' the lines and make it looks sharper. Don't you think it looks smoother? If it became a problem i could always refit the wipers later as all the looms are still there. When building the car i knew i wanted to chase quick times, so i knew i wouldn't be driving it in the rain. Yes the car changes lanes by itself under power, it's dangerous. No i NEVER drive it in the wet, and wouldn't even think of it. It's like driving on water in the dry, it's can be a scary car in the dry... But if it bothers anyone, i'll refit them as the motor and arms are sitting on the garage floor... I'm uploading some vids atm some people might enjoy. Cheers. I mean how many cars do you see built out there no matter what make or model and the owner removes not only the wipers but the motors the mechanisms and stuff aswell. Alls im asking is why were they removed and the holes covered up for simple. Also bigpsi if you read in the magazine you will see qwikvl said that the car makes 545kw at the wheels on 32 psi boost when it raced to the 8.90 and on the dyno at independant motorsport the car made on 714.7hp at the wheels which is 532 kw at the wheels. Are you saying he took away 14 boost and the car only dropped 13 kw at the wheels. Quote: Originally Posted by qwikvl Ok, i know the answer and only i know. I won't give you the long story. who gives 2 ****s if he has wipers or not its his car and he doesnt want wipers BIG DEAL! im sure the wipers dont take that much weight off even with the wipers im sure he would have ran the same times and miles day in day out! so stop your bagging cause this is a car and owner that deserves RESPECT even his old setup in his calais ran rediculous times for what it was straight out of his shed!

jeff3ltr-maybe he drove it to the dyno comp on 18psi and wound it up once there? Im sure it'd still change lanes on 18psi...you only need 400rwhp in a VL to do that let alone 700+. Anyway, give it a rest man, quit knit picking and show some respect where its due.
