16x7's... I didn't get those rims though... Just std walkies, but with original Re71's on em! Spare has only been on the rd once or twice... I will be getting momos for it... I love the look of em.. It actually came out with momos.... according to the original owner... I'll prolly use the walky rims, with std tyres for st, and the momos with the re71's for shows etc.... Corsa so did any cars actually get the phone/fax machine fitted? i'd like to see what the system looks like. i'm guessing it looks ridiculous.

I remember a car like this one in an old Street Machine or Wheels,it was one of the first Walkys if not the prototype, definately not a production car,I wonder what was on the momo centre caps?it would not have been HDTthats for sure, shame the original rims are lost. This car is a unique piece of history for sure, very slick.

It MAY have been one of the prototypes, but Im not sure, and probably not, unless they changed everything later on, as in the articles, it doesn't have leather and sunroof etc, and the dates would have been tight to do all the work, but not impossible.... I suspect they wanted it to look like a prototype, when it became a special order... Either way, im not complaining!!! As for the momos, I have no idea, but it wouldn't have been HDT. If you have seen the 1:18 scale Biante model then that item mounted in the boot behind the back seat looks like the box for the mobile phone. The Aug 87 VL Calais Brochure has the Mobile Phone handset pictured. Corsa

My car had some sort of phone kit... But im not sure if it's factory or aftermarket... There is wiring in the boot, but no control box, and there is a mic just above the rearview mirror.
