outta curiosity, why would u get full comp agreed value when theres a 3rd party fire/theft agreed value? :O
the only benefit of full comp is that if ur cars damaged and it was ur fault, it gets fixed right?
and also, whats VIGIL like with P-Platers, 19yrs of age with a "modded" VLT?

;p
just wait a year then?
besides being 17 and owning a VLT... i rkn would be silly, unless ur responsible.
hmm, all i know is next year or so, i might give this bunch a ring... see wat theyre like.... coz some of the prices i saw for ppl even on their P's (and full comp... making it a lot higher) was bloody awesome ;p
altho the only thing that annoys me, as with probably all insurance companies, is the fact that they might not pay u out if u get pranged/or cause an accident if u have 'illegal mods', but then again whats illegal? Im in fcuken WA... they seem to be better than bloody VIC when it comes to mods and yellow-stickering...
but i only want to have agreed value (for car + plus its mods) incase my car gets stolen..... because in all honesty, i dont plan to hit anyone or write my car off once all my moneys been spent on it..... surely they cant fk-their-way out of paying out a person whos car was stolen? Unless they just give u enough for a STOCK VLT even tho u had an ecu, better turbo etc etc put in..

he's 19 i think? That would mean he has 11 years until he is 31 and vigil will insure him again?

man, then wtf?
what other options do the younger owners have? not to mention THE LARGER MAJORITY... why would they add that bulls**t to their policy???? pretty silly if u ask me..
**** yeah!!, off to just car it is!, where they over charge you, undervalue you, and squirm their way out of claims

i take it u cant insure the car under ur parents name then????????
then they nominate u as the 2ndary driver... who 'drives it 99.9%' of the time??
???
sounds like you had to be quick with this one.
i think i might have just scraped in...19 years. full comp.
speak with Lorne. he was who helped me out, sounded like a pretty good bloke....gave me a price, then said that he could get it lower, took it down another $200.
