^^^^^^^^^^^ LMAO, i see race car drivers do that all the time.
i spoke to a guy the other day who did the conversion and he seid once he changed to the VT master and booster, it pulled up heaps better. than useing his vlt master and booster. with the vt setup
i dunno if it's different for other people that have done it and changed master and booster later but in this case it was.

If you don't have a booster you don't need vacuum. When you run twin master cylinders (no booster)you run say a .625 (5/8) and a .7 (11/16) bore one for front brakes and one for rear .You mount them with a balance bar to direct more balance to front or rear brakes. The pushrod connects the brake pedal to the master cyls bypassing the booster where as in vacuum assisted brakes where the pushrod goes into the booster and the master is bolted to the booster. The piston sizes and the amount of pistons as well as pedal ratio all comes into effect on determining the master cyl bore sizes. This is a basic version of how it works but some people generaly use a pedal box and or a adj brake bias valve.

would 15's clear the VZ SS calipers? i've only just got my VL and realised how crap the standard NA brakes are, and am lookin at upgrading in the future, and this kit seems very cheap, but im not sure as i dont look at brakes often. i would also imgaine that VZ SS brakes would be a bit better than the VT twin piston upgrade?
VZ SS brakes are the same size as normal VZ's.
$550 is cheap for a brake upgrade, just be careful of the pedal feel with this kit as 90% of the time it creates a spongy pedal.
LAZYASS has a master cyl/booster which can fix this i think.

No master or booster can stop caliper flex though Matt .
i want to use nissan 4 pistons on the front and 2 pistons on the rear. i want the pedal to be firm and dont want it to travel any more then standard. will a vlt master and booster be alright for this or should i look at getting a gtr booster and possibly master?
if i did go master/booster from a gtr how difficult would it be to fit on to the vl?
A Nissan master cylinder is either 15/16 or 1" so no different to Holden ones.
I use Nissan 4 spots on the fron tand the pedal is firm with a VLT 1" master cyl. Im using a VH single diaphragm booster.

Its not caliper flex that causes a spongy pedal on most VT caliper conversions, its the lack of fluid displacement to fill the big caliper pistons, you need a few pumps. But yes the VT calipers do flex a fair bit.
And i've fitted the skyline style booster/master, it's not that hard, just be aware gtr's have abs. I have what u want on my car, with a 15/16" silvia master and it's execlent.
