A methanol 6/71 injected hat setup would be great for just a drag racing or show dyno car but not very practical for weekend cruising.
I say go the turbo carby blow through setup. I've been doing a lot of research on this lately. I'm only running 9.5:1 comp so it would be perfect for a 10psi blow through setup. It's just that cash shortage problem that most of us normal working class people have that's getting in the way.

Im going to think about it for another couple of months, but i most probably will turbo my engine. I was thinking of putting a Vortech on it, but for around half the price, i can put a big single turbo like a GT42, which on only say 10psi will push my car easily into the 9s. I will modify my current carb and upgrade the fuel system with an Aeromotive A1000 pump and Aeromotive regulator, which can support 1100hp
It all comes down to $$$$$........time will tell
does'nt anyone want to run N/A motors any more. I find it more rewarding putting down good times from a N/A motor, yes they are a pig to run on the street, and cost thousands to build $25,000 and still going. but thats just my opinion.

Yea, my car is really fun to drive, fries the tyres with ease, but nothing beats the rush and torque of a blown/turbocharged engine, its great

Its the Blue VK that was on the front cover of Street Commodres, its built by Trick & Manwseto. The setup in that can pass for a Pro Stock engine, its far from a street car

ELA-RE who built your engine was it AN racing.net
The engine was built by someone else, but the engine ***d up, so i had Sash at AN Racing put his own custom grind cam and springs and tuned the car as well. A couple of his customers are in Street Commodores NSW top 10 list. And now, after seeing his car with a Procharger strapped to it, ive gotta go blown!! His car made 694rwhp on only 8psi.....time to save $$$$
