at least now every time a new dose pipe thread rears its ugly head, we can just link them to this and they'll be satisfied.. hopefully..

hahahahahaha nah i dont keep different pipes in the boot, but i have about 10different ones in my garage, and i mix and match for different moods, occasions, whatever tonight im going with a 90 degree bent 3" dose pipe facing upwards with mesh, to give me a nice deep bassy dose. its a nice early weekend dose, and it suits the late autumn early winter fashions (by the way im being serious) hehehehe Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

LOL... i love the 'dose to suit all moods'. You should make a corrugated one that you can shorten or lengthen for easy mood adjustment.

Yeah sort of. Just be interested to know if redVLTjet has done this as well. Sort of wonder if it would be real loud due to the airbox causing an echo?

nah the airbox would absorb pretty much all of the flutter, you would probabaly hear nothing. I have run a metal intake the whole way to a stock airbox before, it made no sound and probabaly lost power because metal holds alot more heat than plastic.

what is the best way to get a loud dose. do you have to be going fast or something.

build it up to about 3000 then back off, punch and the clutch in for the duration of the dose to eliminate exhaust noise interferring (if you have a manual) in an auto, stall it up on the spot and dose your ****en head off, sounds crazy lol
