i like the tacho/shift light fitting into the top right corner of the dash surround at as much of a right angle as possible my positioning: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Not a fan of spending $500 on a too big tacho when I have a perfect working one in the dash. Too big but the shiftlight would be ok when ur thrashing it and are on the limit.

has anyone else ever bothered just spending the money on a gizmo shift light??? They're awesone.... has 3 stage LED's that you can set at any rpm you choose to shift at and it also has recall to tell you when you shifted..... and it hides away nicely!!

acutally just picked up a monstor tacho with shift light, as it's hard to watch the wolf tacho, I don't get how u guys mount it on the piller, doesn't that interfer with you view out the wind screen, I'm going to mount mine of the driver door near the mirror! keeps it in view, but not high enough to cause problems with blind spots, should have it finished tomorrow will put a picture up

Same, but I just couldn't cut my door trims for that! So far, I think unknowen's is best. No need for another tacho, and a boost gague fits nice there with the shiftlight

it runs from the negative terminal of the coil with the standard loom, if you have a different loom now, just wire it back to coil if you don't want to use a spare output on the wolf ecu.

have an msd as a coil now, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't be safe to run the negitve from the msd coil to my dash tacho

true, do not run it off the coil if you use an MSD, run it from the tacho wire behind the dash. Trent your's looks very good, i like that alot, i like you have a shift light but no monster tacho, it is a stewart warner one i bought of Ollie (exhchaser) and i have it mounted on the steering column, very handy
