marc reckons hes got a trick up his sleeve to sort out the timing issue which i will get him to do next time, im actually going to be changing my waste gate too if you want it tim.. give me a buzz n have a look at what else you may need, i gotta go n chase a 48mm gate trip home was sensational it didnt feel much quicker down low but from 100 - 200 it didnt wanna stop... funny story, this morning where i normally give it a boot on my way to work.. i smashed 1st into second and tried to pull up where i normally do!!!! i must have been about 40km/h quicker and it didnt pull up, had to near lock it up and turn this sweeper on the brakes to miss the semi trailers!!! lmao.. so yea.. it must pull harder through 2nd for sure!! i got some pics of the car before if you want me to email them to some1.. ill take some shots tomorrow of the engine bay now.. then ill get some shots after its painted and with the pro stars..

btw i beleieve the head must be done to get another 20kw at the treads.. its a restriction that i would rather not have.. cheapest way to gain 20rwkw without wynding up the boost

imo you are looking at more than 20rwkw the stock head has got to be a massive weak point.

i was thinking 20psi with a gt35/40 and only getting 265, isn't that a little low ? if u read up on heaps of peoples engine work, alot of people never got head work done? so why's the head holding this engine back ?

When you port the head, you'll increase effeicency, and produce more power on less boost.. thats the key to making good power on pump fuel.. Darrens 370rwkw R31 is a perfect example, it's the right combination, well thought out and time taken to consider what each component/aspect of the build will do to the end result.

The car made 308rwkw on Rajabs dyno.. make of that what you will. (C16 28psi+) JPC ported, I dont have flow specs (brett might), and I was told it's got bigger exhaust valves in it.. compared to my old vl, this thing revs like crazy (1147C Wade cam).. and very toey all things considered. Doesn't breath much through the PCV valves, even when worked hard, runs a good 22psi on pump fuel (98 ron)..
