01-02-06, 16:20 GMT+10#42 A Saturday I reckon...that way it can go from early afternoon to night.
None of this waking up on a sunday in the early morning ****...
I also think we should do the tambo cruise again this time hopefully it'd be dry.
I have all the details from the last one, we'll just refine it and should be sweet, please suggest some meeting places in this thread coz that's always the biggest problem. And what is with people turning up at a cruise with no fuel ? haha
It'll be organised I guess when Ollie gets his car sorted and tuned etc...
Probably end up being late March.

01-02-06, 17:17 GMT+10#43 sounds good, just make a central location, at a well known servo.
Get some details up so people know exactly when it is, etc and a date,
I reckon the saturday arvo/night thing sounds good. better then being hung over on a sundy morning after drinking
Oh and Mt tamborine is a good drive too, sounds good,

01-02-06, 17:31 GMT+10#44 Servo isn't a good place for 30 + VL's to show up at...
Any other suggestions, car parks of places etc...?
Previously we've met at aspley hypermarket which I think could be improved upon...

Send scoota to the servo by himself
Shopping centres are pretty much the only places you can fit 30+ cars, I thought the hyperhole was alright except for the fact that you only get 5 cars out each light change.

04-02-06, 19:17 GMT+10#59 Jay, another good spot to stop is just near the hyperdome. There's a KAOS adult store on the highway service road with a massive car park there that never gets used. You kninda have to double back about 500m from the exit, but that could work in your favour for the straglers to at least see where you're headed i.e from the highway you'd be able to see the lead cars coming back towards you on the service road.
It also has the beauty of not really being near any of the Major police stations (e.g Coomera, Beenleigh) so for a short stop you probably wouldn't have time to be hassled.
Servo access isn't bad there either, its a short run up towards the bogan dome (500m maybe?) for a servo that'll have Vortex.
You're kinda in the right area then to head back towards the tambo road too.
