my bro had a mini spool in his ROMAC diff with 28 spline axels and after about 6 months or so if snapped the axle completely and fu cked the diff and inner guard of the side the axle broke on. it had been tracked only once in that time so it hadnt copped too bad a thrashing although it was a daily driver so we werent surprised one bit wen it did break lol dont do it unless your prepared for the cost.... they will break!!!

yeh howd u fk the inner guard, just coz the axle snaps doesnt mean itll fall out, unless it snapped at the wheel bearing(unlikely)

david funny u say that, i did try weld up the axle lol, didnt last long. - one rally and it fked again.

i have no idea i wasnt there wen it happened never really thought about that, but it ****ed up hardcore aparently i think there was a few other major things that broke wen the axels broke as well, but he ended up having to find a whole new diff, hubs etc not just replace the axles and centre. it was well fu cked lol
