76mm turbo isn't rated at 1300hp, even the garrett GT47 has a 80mm comp wheel and is rated at 1300hp, the 76 is rated at about 1050-1100 max. Your probably right though, you don't need an 88mm wheel, you could use an 80. Blowsmoke, do they give out the info readily?? If I wasn't buying a turbo, I just didn't think they'd give out specs and details. As for fitting standard headers, over here its far different from america anyway. Virtually no one uses the headers you speak of, largely due to cost. My own business is making turbo manifolds and kit, and I have done 1 2JZ with GT45 that uses the larger TA51 flange your talking about in the bigger garretts. With a 1000hp 74mm GT45 and 1.01 TA51 rear, it makes full boost at 4700rpm and on one of your dyno's around 600-650rwhp on pump fuel with 20% tolulene and a dead stock unopened motor, has run a 10.5@138mph to back it up. A lot of workshops build their own stuff over here, australians are very ingenuitive, or, a lot in the last 12 months have turned to using the cheap chinese and some cheap american brands, I think they are called stone mountain racing?? or something, but geniric mass produced poor quality ones. Don't get me wrong, they work ok, but fall apart pretty quickly. They also leave a lot to be desired in finish with a lot having dags and jagged bits of metal in the collectors. PM me with the size you want Troy and I'll give you a price. 6BOOST

Yep we have to make things over here, the American market always rely on kits, it 's funny with the supras they ALL build the car the car themselves in there garages, but if you look into it, they all just buy kits and everything goes together like a piece of piss. A freind of mine who started Horsepower in abox use to sell kits to the US for older stuff RX2's etc, he stopped that quick smart because if the kit wasn't 100 percent perfect people would freak out and didn't know what to do, and i remember him showing me some stuff , it was real basic stuff which someone here would fix in 2 minutes cheers darren
