Don't bother with the XSpower. I bought one it was on the car for a week and blew up so the gave me onother one and it was on the car for 2 days and blew up and I was only running 12psi. I sent it away to Turbotech and got them to rebuild it and it hasn't had a problem since.

i might as well make a donation to the web sight. 1. super t70 heap of crap XSPOWER, but i was thinking is there any way to change the internals to garret or wont they fit????? would it be cheaper than buying a whole new garret one the same size?????? and what stuff would need changeing. core? bearings? wheel? shaft? does any one know where i could take it so some one could quote it for me??????? in melb. of course. I took my T04e XSpower turbo to Turbotech in WA it cost me $1100 to fix but it's got garrett internals

if they released dodgy turbos from the start u would have ot be crazy to buy one, even if they so called fixed them up, just shows how poor their workman ships is and how much the value customer satisfaction.

Total = $1600 End result = Plain bearing time bomb.. Brand new Garrett GT35/40, should last forever... Total = $1700 End result = Ball bearing, quality turbo.. Save yourself the hassle and get a Garrett straight up.

E-mail forcedinductions.com about the master power turbos. They apparently have had some problems with them lately. Mostly they are pretty good, but they test alot of units and don't really feel comfortable using them lately. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well my master power turbo is farked. I guess they weren't as good as I thought they were. I have since revised my stance on saving money on a turbo I'm getting it rebuilt by MR turbo. He is rebuilding it with one of his own ball bearing centers. All he uses of the Masterpower turbo is the housings and the wheels. The thrust bearing just completely flogged out. The rear piston ring was worn aswell. Comp seal wasn't sealing causing the boost pressure to force the oil out the back of the turbo. Was pooring white smoke out the back of the car. Master power T70 - $900 Rebuild with ball bearing center - $1000 JUST BUY A GOD DAMN GARRET Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

ive now found out that the maasterpower turbos run a small shaft, not a big shaft so they dont like high boost constantly which is what causes them to fail basically Hilly, u have a masterpower turbo still, just a different centre but u will now hav a turbo that will spool DAMN quick and produce alot more power than a gt35r im trying to sell mine so i can get 1 of marks 76mm rollers

Save your money and get a genuine Garrett GT series ball bearing turbo. Even a secondhand one. There are some other good turbos around, but Garrett are the largest turbo manufacturer by far anywhere in the world, and they spend HEAPS on research and development. Pay a bit more and get the best.
