hows the bottom end going making any noises done a compression test?

still doesn't make any noise. Don't know how it hasn't i have spun the power steering bet up side down twice when i have missed gears, hard revs. Haven't done a comp test yet. would be lucky to get 100ml of oil in catch can after two full nights of thrashing. Got full ported head ready to go on in a few weeks

Getting Spool rods and cp pistons and putting the ported head on+ power ported inlet runners and turbo comp cover

woopsy this is what a major lean out looks like. i.e no surge tank engine bay is completly stripped out getting all lumps and holes sorted out and another new spray.

update. found that the little dodgy fuel filter i was using had blocked and fuel flow was dropping at boost levels over 15psi. engine dyno showed us this. it was dicarded and another high flow unit fitted. thats what caused meltage. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

that little dodgey fuel filter... lol, i remember that. that little thin red thing that was heaps expensive. this car has come along way corran. engine bay looks magic. smoothened, no wiring, no fuse box, no battery, no "nuthin that makes the bay look sh1t", magic! thanks to you and chad, would have to be the most detailed vl in SA now, and would go close in the whole of Australia too i reckon. btw, wish chad goodluck on his wedding day for me. cant believe its finally gonna happen, he put it back so many times lol. and i hope ur buying him a good wedding present mate. yeah was the bloody filter. but dodgy country dirt mixed petrol doesn't help either. didn't know how the wheels would make the car look, but am very happy with them. sort of makes the car low key, hopefully unnoticable to the fuzz. have spent alot more than i budgeted for. had everything go wrong on the dyno. problems 1. Used a aca cas with the autronic chopper wheel, wouldn't work, got a brand aca sensor still wouldn't work. soon found out that they are real sensative and only like genuine cas which are $400. ended up making a custom cas, on the end of the crank and in the dizzy. 2. msd kept going crazy, ended up throwing it and buying an m&w 3.Autronic fuel pump driver in computer didn't work. 4 fuel filter ended up being blocked fuel flow was dropping off at 15psi. 5.tacho output in ecu doesnt work. 6. alternator doesn't work after i had it pulled apart, painted, put on. 7.master cylinder seals went when bleeding brakes. other than that seems to be going well. rims are vz clubsport R8 19's Will have to catch up for a cruise next saturday night? thanks for the appreciation guys
