I am in... the shelf sounds good. I will tell you all now... if I have to do anymore bottom bouncing in my lifetime... I will never go fishing again. I cannot stand that. (For those who dont know what bottom bouncing is, its when you go deep sea fishing, put those big ***ing sinckers on it and drop it in 100+ metres of water. Wait 5min till it hits the floor (lol you know what i mean) and just wait and wait and wait. When you eventually have a fish it takes 2 hours to bring up lol I hate it ) At the shelf we can go for marlin and tuna. Ohh I love the idea. Bring it on boys.

wats at the shelf? well the good thing about fishing is that we can all go out and have a good time and if we dont have anything then we go all go past the fish markets and buy some fish and then brag to others we caught it lol hehehehehe

Yeh I'd be keen to go on a charter Paul... I'd suggest if we were going on a charter boat then we should go on the 'Wahoo' if we're going game fishing, I have heard many good things about the boat and crew and they seem to clean up on the tuna and big makos...

Paul- The shelf that they're referring to is the Continental Shelf... Its a massive drop off about 35(?) miles out from Sydney that runs up the east coast... Fucking deep water basically... Yeh man I'm easy who we go with, just a suggestion...

Now My question is are any of you guys game enough to dive the shelf ??? If there is a couple of guys that will be up for it, I'll join you's big pelagics to be speared if you want ? Nothin like a bit of blue water hunting !!!!! I know you guys may think its crazy but then again, you can't possibly be normal if your building a 7 sec car ?? you gotta have a few screws loose !LOL Kurt

i'd be up for it but i don't have my gear anymore, or the fitness for it unfortunately. been 2 years since i did any bluewater stuff had myself a custom-made gun too with 4 light rubbers on it (i'm pretty small and i didn't have the strength to c0ck two of the big ones back then) but i sold it when i couldn't get out to use it any more. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
