hahaha 'street legal' how can anyone say that a modded VL is legal? there are polution laws thats stop you from this. the EPA will **** any VL with mods, and 10 second cars arnt exactly polution friendly. the Torana is a pre 76 model car i would guess making it exempt from polution laws. Top job on that time anyhow very quick car, good to see it out on the street

with a rb30 in it doesn't the car have to run the same pollution gear of the car the engine came out of i.e a VL

a pre '72 shell runs no emission gear with any engine a '72 or later shell runs all emission gear of the donor engine

i thought it was pre 76, i might be wrong i used to have a 73 model RX4 never hassled by cops have a mate with a 73 RX3 and its engineered for 13BT with no polution gear to be seen. been EPA'd aswell and passed with quieter exhaust. anyway good to see a car that can stick it up the EPA and run spastik times
